Who are We ?

AWAKE Society is a rehabilitation, healing and reintegration institute dedicated to restoring hope, dignity, self-respect and purpose in the lives of people struggling with addiction and alcoholism.

We believe that every individual deserves a second chance an opportunity to heal, rebuild their life and return to society with confidence, dignity and renewed hope.

At AWAKE Society, we do not define a person by their addiction. We see the person behind the addiction, their struggles, their potential and the life they can rebuild.

Our approach to recovery is built around Treatment, Care and Training. Along with medical, psychological and holistic care, we provide yoga, meditation and other healing practices that support physical, emotional and mental well-being. At the same time, we provide vocational training and skill-development programmes as an integral part of the healing process.

Through activities such as horticulture, agriculture, animal husbandry, beekeeping and other livelihood-based skills, our recovering residents are encouraged to learn, work, create and discover their own abilities. These activities are not merely vocational exercises; they are tools for healing. They develop discipline, responsibility, patience, confidence, self-reliance and a sense of achievement, while preparing individuals for a dignified and productive life after recovery.

A Place Where Recovery Begins

At AWAKE Society, entering rehabilitation is not a sign of weakness it is an act of courage and the first step towards a new life.

When an individual comes to us, we offer more than treatment. We offer acceptance, compassion, understanding, companionship and a safe environment to heal. We walk alongside them through their difficulties, encourage them through their challenges and celebrate every step of their recovery.

We especially reach out to those who have been ignored, rejected, humiliated or stigmatized by society because of addiction. Our purpose is not simply to help a person stop using substances, but to help them rediscover their identity, dignity, self-worth and potential, and ultimately reconnect them with their families, communities and society.

Who am I?

We believe true recovery begins when a person discovers their own value. When I learn to value and respect myself, I naturally learn to value and respect others. Therefore, recovery is not merely about leaving addiction behind; it is about finding oneself, healing within, rebuilding relationships, developing skills, discovering purpose and becoming a meaningful part of society once again.

My past does not define me. My recovery defines me.

At AWAKE Society, we do not just receive people we receive their stories, their struggles and their hopes. Together, we begin a journey of healing, learning, growth and transformation. Our ultimate purpose is to give back to society by helping individuals become healthy, skilled, self-reliant, responsible and respected members of the community.
